Tampa Bay Juniors - USPHL

Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors Elite Team swept the DME Swamp Rabbits over the weekend while the TBJ Premier lost two to the Swamp Rabbits.  TBJ Elite won by scores of 14-2 and 7-4.  TBJ Elite was led by Zach Parkers 1 goal and 9 assist weekend and Jack Mazur's 5 goals and 3 assist.  TBJ Premier would drop Friday's game 4-2 in Daytona and 4-1 Saturday at home.

Both teams play this weekend with home and home games verse the Florida Blades.  Friday the teams travel to Germain Arena with TBJ Premier playing at 6:15 pm and TBJ Elite playing at 8:45 pm.  On Saturday both teams are at FHCI with Premier at 1:15 pm and Elite at 4:00 pm.

Mark Louria would score 2 goals in the 4-2 loss to the Swamp Rabbits.

Saturday 9/15 at FHCI
TBJ Elite 14  DME 2
Tampa would score 9 goals in the second period to rout the Swamp Rabbits 14-2.  TBJ Elite was led by Mazur's 2 goals and 3 assist.   Parker, Jackson Drysdale, and Kyle Ciaccio would all have 1 goal and 3 assist, Parker Chadwell added 3 assist and Roco Selivanov would net 2 goals and an assist.  Goalies Shaun Hatton and Alex Higginbotham shared in the win.

TBJ Premier 1  DME 4
Louria would be the lone scorer again in the loss to DME.  Tampa would be down 3-0 before Loria scored his 3rd goal of the weekend but that was as close as Tampa would get.

Sunday 9/16 at Daytona
TBJ Elite 7   DME 4
Tampa would jump to a 5-0 lead in the first period on Mazur's Hattrick but DME would come roaring back in the second with 4 goals of their own to pull within one.  Kevin Holman and Selivanov each scored 2 goals to put the game away with Parker assisting on 6 of the 7 goals.  Nolan Kare would get the win as Tampa finished off the sweep.
