Tampa Bay Juniors - USPHL

The Tampa Bay Juniors Elite team wrapped up the Florida Division Title with their 4-1 win over the Florida Eels last Thursday.  TBJ Elite would jump to a three goal lead with Ari Blatt, Mookie Killen and Dylan Hineman all scoring.  The Eels scored midway through the 3rd to stay close before an empty net goal by Loui Jonson secured it.  Ethan Carlone had 23 saves for the win.  
The Division title is TBJ Elite first since the 20-21 season and they have won their past 8 games.

The TBJ Premier also stayed on a roll wining their 7th straight game with its 4-3 win over the Eels last Thursday. Down 1-0 Tampa would tie it up with a goal by Alek Ostankovics.  Ethan Dominy would score the next 2 for TBJ for a 3-1 lead.  That lead would shrink as the Eels scored 2 goals in the final minute of the second period to tie it.  Early in the 3rd Grant Parshall scored to put TBJ back in the lead and with solid defense and goaltending from Savva Sediuk, TBJ made it hold up. 
 

Both teams welcome the Atlanta Madhatters in town for a three game series Friday, Saturday and Sunday at AdventHealth Center Ice.
