Tampa Bay Juniors - USPHL

 This weekend the Tampa Bay Juniors swept away the Bold City Battalion! With a weekend sweep, with TBJ Premier able to clinch a spot in the playoffs!

On Friday, January 26th, TBJ traveled to Jacksonville to play at the Community First Igloo. TBJ Elite team won 4-3 in overtime! Dylan Hineman had two assists during the first and second period, and Kelan Jamison scored the overtime goal.

The TBJ Premier team won 4-2 against the Battalion! Lucas Ouellette scored one goal in the third and had two assists. Livio Azevedo and Ty Patefield both scored one goal and had one assist.

On Saturday, January 27th, we returned to our home rink. Elite won 6-0, with Marcus Benzrihem, as the goalie, for the full 60 minutes of the game, finishing with a 19 save shutout!  Jan Zeman would lead the way with 2 goals and 1 assist.  Richard Moskala and Kevin Rosello each had 1 goal and 2 assist. 

TBJ Premier would complete the sweep with a 4-1 victory.  Azevedo led the way with 2 power play goals.  Augie Ashley and Oliwer Lundberg each picked up two assists with Savva Serdiuk in net for both wins!

TBJ finished with a weekend sweep winning all 4 games against the Battalion! Stay tuned for our games on February 2nd and 4th against the Palm Beach Typhoon!
