Tampa Bay Juniors - USPHL

 The Tampa Bay Juniors had a great weekend playing against the Florida Eels! On Friday, January 19th both teams played the Eels at our home rink. TBJ Elite team had an extremely close game but took a 3-2 loss. Kevin Rosello scored the first goal of the game, assisted by Mookie Killen and Dylan Heinman, while the second goal was scored by Jacob Munkwitz, assisted by Lucas Gonzalez and Kevin Rosello.

TBJ Premier team had an amazing game, winning 4-1! The first goal of the game was scored by Ty Patefield, where he also gained an assist in the 2 period to Tyler Cullen’s goal. Livio Azevedo and Augie Ashely also both had one goal and one assist.  Savva Sediuk made 20 saves for the win.

      On Sunday, January 21st, both teams traveled to the Fort Myers Skatium to take on the Eels once again. The Elite team took home a win of 5-2! Lucas Gonzalez scored two goals and had one assist. Ari Blatt had three assists and Kelan Jamison had two!

The Premier team took a loss of 7-4, but played hard till the end. The first two goals of the game were scored by Nate Cheney and Livio Azevedo in the first period, and the next two were scored by Nick Oliverio and Grant Parshall in the third.

      Overall, both teams hustled hard this weekend. TBJ Elite and Premier will play the Bold City Battalion this upcoming weekend on Friday the 26th in Jacksonville, and Saturday the 27th in Wesley Chapel!
