Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors Hockey Club is proud to announce that Premier forward Keegan Johnson has committed to play hockey next season with Iowa State University, a perennial ACHA D1 top 10 program.
Johnson finishes his TBJ career with 25 goals and 39 assists, good for 64 points in 77 regular season games.
“Keegan’s game really elevated in the playoffs for us, he was a dominate player factoring in on 5 of our 8 goals in the tight checking series against Charleston.” said coach Vossler. “I’m really excited to see Keegan head to a reputable program and continue his career at a big time school!”
“I just want to say, my time in Tampa was the best decision I could have made. I got to grow both as a person, and as a player with all the organization’s resources while making so many connections with so many people” remarked Johnson.
