Tampa Bay Juniors Elite Goalie Shaun Hatton was named USPHL Goalie of the Month for December.

Hatton (‘01/Bradenton, Fla.) was in net for four of the Juniors’ eight games and was stellar in each. Even in his one loss on the month, he gave up just one goal in a 1-0 loss to Richmond at the USPHL Florida Showcase. With his efforts, he helped the Juniors to a 6-2 month.

Overall, he gave up just seven goals total and never more than two in a game in December for a 1.52 goals against average on the month. He turned away 131 of 138 shots faced for a .949 save percentage.

Hatton’s 10 wins this year are good for a tie for fifth in the league, and his season save percentage of .922 is good for seventh overall.
