TBJ Return from Break Vs Blades

Wesley Chapel, FL - After a week off for Thanksgiving, the Tampa Bay Juniors returned to action this past weekend with games verse the Florida Blades.  TBJ Elite would continue it's winning streak against the Florida Division by sweeping the Blades 6-2 Saturday and 3-2 Sunday.
Ken Malinoski led TBJ Elite Saturday with 4 assist and Trent Gephart would add 3 points with 2 goals and 1 assist.  

TBJ Premier split it's series with the Blades winning 4-1 at home Saturday, then losing by the same score Sunday at Germain Arena.  Tyler Schaeffer netted 2 goals in the win Saturday and scored Tampa's lone goal Sunday.  Mark Louria had a goal and 3 assist over the weekend.

Both teams continue next weekend playing the Blades again at home Saturday, then both teams heading to Fort Myers Sunday to play the Florida Eels.

Saturday 12/1 at FHCI
TBJ Elite 6  Blades 2

Gephart scored 2 goals with Jackson Drysdale, Roco Selivanov, Jack Mazur and Matt Menkhaus each chipping in one.  Malinoski had 4 assist with Shaun Hatton making 28 saves in the 6-2 win.

TBJ Premier 4  Blades 1
Defenseman, Jon Heller, scored his first junior goal and goalie Connor Green made 22 saves Tampa's win over the Blades.  Schaeffer, 2 goals, and Louria also scored for TBJ.

Sunday 12/2 at Hertz Arena
TBJ Elite 3  Blades 2

Goalie Nolan Kare made 28 saves as TBJ held on for a 3-2 win and a sweep of the series.  Tampa's 3 goals were all scored by defensemen with Vincent Margosian, Kevin Holman and Parker Chadwell all finding the back of the net.

TBJ Premier 1  Blades 4
Tampa found itself on the reverse end of Saturday's game losing 4-1, despite firing 48 shots on net.  Schaeffer would score the lone goal for TBJ.
