TBJ Elite and Premier go Overtime for Victories

Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors Elite and Premier Teams each had to play extra time to pull out victories Sunday versus the Florida Eels.  TBJ Elite, led by Trent Gepharts hat trick, pulled out a 6-5 win and TBJ Premier led by Connor Green's 42 saves won 4-3.

Both teams play the Eels again next week with a home game Friday the 26th: TBJ Elite 5:15 PM and TBJ Premier at 8:00 PM and then both teams travel to Fort Myers for games Sunday.

Game Summaries
TBJ Elite 6  Florida Eels 5 O.T.

Gephart would net the game winner 3:20 into overtime to finish off the hat trick.  After being down 2-0 Gephart would get Tampa's first goal with Vincent Margosian tying it before the first period ended.  Gephart, Kyle Vargas and Carson Schuldt would all score in the second period.  Nolan Kare had 31 saves for the win.

TBJ Premier 4  Florida Eels 3  O.T.
Not to be out done, TBJ Premier also would take its game with the Eels to overtime.  In O.T. Mark Louria scored 1:16 in to finish off the Sunday Sweep for Tampa.  Evan Sivets, Paul Flidr and Zack Puterbaugh all scored for Tampa with Green making 42 saves for the win.
