TBJ Elite and Premier Back From Chicago

Chicago, IL - The Tampa Bay Juniors just finished the Chicago Showcase this past weekend at the Canlan Ice Sports in Romeoville, IL.  TBJ Premier would go 1-2-1 against the top teams in the Midwest Division and TBJ Elite would go 1-3 vs the top teams in the Mid Atlantic Division.

TBJ Premier would open the showcase with a 3-2 lost to the Pittsbugh Veagance.  Tyler Schaeffer would net 1 goal and 1 assist. 
Game 2 saw Tampa drop one to the Minnesota Mullets 4-3 in overtime with Schaeffer once again getting a goal and an assist. 
In game 3 the Chicago Cougars, leading the Midwest East division would take down Tampa 3-1 with Tommi Reuanamaki getting Tampa's lone goal. 
Game 4 saw Tampa finally break through with a 6-3 win over the Minnesota Moose.  Evan Sivets would lead the charge with 2 goals and Zach Slezak would get 2 assist.

Despite going 1-3 over the weekend, TBJ Elite played some of it's best hockey verse the top teams in the USPHL Elite Division.  Tampa opened the Showcase with a 3-0 win over the Potomac Patiots.  Roco Selivanov, Jonny Scheer and Trent Gephart all scored for Tamp. 
Game 2 saw Tampa played #1 Richmond Generals.  In a back and forth game Richmond would come out on top 3-1 with Kevin Holman netting Tampa's lone goal. 
Tampa next would have a rematch with the Hampton Roads Whalers, who took it to TBJ 2 weeks earlier.  Hampton would come out on top again but TBJ would make thing interesting when Gephart scored shorthanded to pull Tampa within one late in the game before Hampton held on for the 3-2 win.
In the final game Tampa would drop another close one to the Atlanta Kings 4-2.  Gephart and Kyle Ciaccio each scored before Atlanta added an empty netter to seal the win.

Tampa finally is back at home this Sunday with game verse the Florida Eels at Florida Hospital Center Ice.  TBJ Elite plays at 12:30 PM and TBJ Premier playing at 3:15 PM.  Following the Premier game their will be a skate with the players for all kids at the game.
