TBJ Elite Sweeps Again: Premier Gains Split

Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors Elite Team swept the Florida Blades over the weekend, 10-1 and 7-3, extending their winning streak to five games.   Jonny Scheer would score 4 goals on the weekend Roco Selivanov adding 4 goals.

The Tampa bay Juniors Premier team split with their series with the Blades losing 2-0 Friday and bouncing back with a 7-3 win Saturday.  Both teams head to Charlotte this weekend to play the Mid Atlantic Teams at Extreme Ice in Charlotte, NC.

Friday September 21 @ Germain Arena


TBJ Premier 0  Blades 2
Tampa would pump 58 shots on goal but could get nothing by the Blades goaltender in the 2-0 loss.

TBJ Elite 10  Blades 1
Tampa continued it's torrid scoring pace in the 10-1 rout.  Selivanov, Scheer and Jack Mazur would lead the attack with two goals each.  Selivanov would also add 3 assist for a 5 point night.  Zach Parker and Aiden Kennedy each had 2 assist.  Nolan Kare was in net for the win.

Saturday September 22 @ FHCI

TBJ Premier 7  Blades 3
The Blades would jump to a 2-0 lead before Tampa scored 5 goals in the second period to pull out the win.  Tommi Reuanamki score 2 goals and had an assist to lead the attack.  Tyler Schaeffer and Paul Flidr each had a goal and an assist and Evan Sivets 2 assist.   Connor Green had 27 saves for the win.

TBJ Elite 7  Blades 3
In the rematch Tampa would put up 7 more goals on the Blades.  Scheer netted 2 more with Aymery Larson, Selivanov, Kyle Vargas, Parker and Vincent Margosian each gettine one.  Jackson Drysdale added 3 assist and Shaun Hatton got the win in net.
