The Tampa Bay Juniors are excited to announce that forward Austin Osborn has signed a professional contract with the Milton Keynes Lightning of the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL) in the United Kingdom.
Osborn made a major impact during the 2024–25 season, recording 21 goals and 31 assists for 52 points in 48 games played. Known for his relentless work ethic and two-way game, he finished the year with a remarkable +51 rating, leading the team.
“Playing for TBJ was an incredible experience,” said Osborn. “Everything about the organization is first class. They give players every opportunity to succeed. The development, support, and atmosphere were unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Without a doubt, the best overall experience of my career!”
TBJ Head Coach Garrett Strot praised Osborn’s all-around game and leadership qualities.
“Austin is a very skilled player who excelled both on and off the ice this season. He’s a true 200-foot player—as his +51 led the team—and that commitment to both ends of the ice will translate in pro hockey.”
Everyone in the TBJ organization congratulates Austin on this exciting new chapter and thanks him for his outstanding contributions to the program. We look forward to watching him continue to grow at the professional level with Milton Keynes.
