Tampa Bay Juniors Goalie Savva Serdiuk Makes NCAA Commitment

The Tampa Bay Juniors are proud to announce that goalie Savva Serdiuk has committed to play NCAA Hockey at SUNY Potsdam.

Savva from Kyiv, Ukraine has played the last two season with TBJ posting a career 2.84 gaa with a .920 save% in over 50 games played.

"The TBJ organization has been nothing short of incredible." stated Savva. "I feel truly lucky to have crossed paths with Brett and Garrett Strot and play for them."

"Savva has been one of the best if not the best goalie we have had here in Tampa." said Head Coach Garrett Strot. "He was a big reason we made the run we did with Savva picking up 4 shutouts down the stretch, including 2 in the playoffs, helping us reach the National Semi-Finals."

Potsdam. located in Potsdam, NY are nicknamed the Bears and play in the NCAA D3 SUNYAC.

"We are very excited to welcome Savva to our program." commented Bears Head Coach Chris Bernard. "He has a great combination of size and athleticism.  We trust coach Strot when he recommends a player and knowing his faith in Savva speaks volume about his potential."

"The TBJ program is everything a player could hope for." continued Savva. "Two unforgettable years!  This team was more than just hockey.  We didn't just play together, we grew together."
