Potomac would jump to a 2-0 lead before Kevin Rosello scored to get TBJ Elite back in it.  But the Patriots would get the next 2 to pull away.  Jacob Munkwitz netted the other goal for Tampa.

Tampa didn’t have time to dwell on their loss as Charlotte Rush were up next just a couple hours later.  Tampa responded with a resounding 5-2 Victory!  Kelan Jamison would score 2 goals and add an assist and Max Ratliff scored a goal and had 2 assist to lead Tampa.  Mookie Killen and Keegan Thurber also scored finished off the Rush. TBJ Premier

The premier team played the toughest schedule in the showcase playing the top 2 teams in the league, Charlotte and Potomac along with the defending USPHL National Champions, Northern Cyclones.

TBJ Premier opened with Charlotte dropping a hard fought game 3-2.  Gustav Pettersson and Augie Ashley scored for Tampa but with the goalie pulled Tampa just missed on tying the game with seconds left.

Just like the Elite team Saturday the Premier team had no time to dwell on the loss as a few hours later they faced the defending Champs Northern Cyclones.  Tampa would come out strong outshooting Cyclones 30-22.  Javan Fisher opened the scoring with his first of the year but Northern would score the next 3.  Tyler Cullen scored in the 3rd to get Tampa within 1 but The Cyclones would score an empty netter to seal it.

Saturday Tampa would face the number one team in the league, Potomac.  Tampa would jump to a 2-1 lead in the second with goals from Lucas Ouellette and Ashley but Potomac tied it later in the period.  The game stayed tied until the Patriots scored on a breakaway with a few minutes left in the game.  TBJ had some chances with the goalie pulled but once again couldn’t capitalize as Potomac would get an empty netter to clinch it.

Sunday TBJ Premier would end the showcase with a well deserved 3-1 win vs Hampton Roads.  Ethan Dominy, Livio Azevedo and Grant Parshall would score with Savva Serdiuk making 35 saves for the win.
