TBJ Premier/Elite Split with Eels
This weekend the Tampa Bay Juniors Elite and Premier team both took on the first place Florida Eels! On Friday, October 27th, at our home rink, TBJ Premier team won in a thrilling 3-2 shootout. Goalie, Savva Serdiuk, made 46 saves and stopped all 3 shootout attempts for the win! Liam Lynn and Aleksis Ostankovics scored both goals during the second period of the game, and Livio Azevedo scored in the shootout bringing home the win!
TBJ Elite team also took home a win of 5-3. Jan Zeman led the way scoring two goals and adding 2 assist. Dylan Hineman, Keegan Thurber and Ari Blatt rounded out the scoring and Shane Passaro made 32 saves for the win.
On Sunday, October 29th, the Tampa Bay Juniors traveled down to Fort Myers Skatium to play the Eels again. TBJ Premier team took a loss of 2-8, with the goal scorers being Livio Azevedo and Ludvig Jonsson.
TBJ Elite team saw a back and forth game go into overtime tied 3-3. Despite TBJ outshooting the Eels 10-0 in o.t. they could not find the back of the net before losing in a shootout. Hineman, Max Ratliff and Thurber scored for TBJ
The Tampa Bay Juniors worked hard this weekend, and are ready for the upcoming game on Saturday, November 4th, in Jacksonville against the Bolt City Battalion!
