Tampa Bay Juniors - USPHL

Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors are proud to announce that Premier Forward Tim Ruf has committed to play hockey at East Texas Baptist University.  ETBU is an ACHA Division 2 team located in Marshall, TX.

Tim had 7 goals and 7 assist in 46 games played with the Premier Team.  For his career at TBJ Tim has played 187 games with 42 goals 57 assist for 99 points.  He was part of 2 Elite teams that made Nationals with the 2018-19 team finishing runner up.

"After I look back on my seasons with TBJ, I have improved my game tremendously!" stated Ruf.  "I have learned many things that I will bring to the college level.  Not only did I grow as a hockey player but as a person with the help of many great teammates that I have met along the way."

"Tim was a tremendous player both on and off the ice in his 4 years here." remarked Head Coach Garrett Strot.  "Tim was a leader in the locker room and was always one of the hardest working players on the ice!  ETBU is not only getting a quality hockey player but a quality person!!"
