Weekend Wrap: TBJ Premier and Elite each go 3-0 Last Week

Wesley Chapel, FL - TBJ Premier and TBJ Elite each went 3-0 this past week vs the Palm Beach Typhoon and Florida Blades.

TBJ Elite

TBJ Elite bounced back after two tough losses vs the Eels with a sweep of the Palm Beach Typhoon, winning 6-3 Saturday and 4-2 Sunday.  They finished the week with a 7-4 win Thursday.  TBJ Elite was led by Milan Levcenko with 5 goals and 2 assist over the three games and Philip Wsol who had 2 goals and 4 assist. 

All three goalies figured into the wins with Daniel Broske taking game one vs the Typhoon followed by Charles Garon winning game two and Evan Spinella finishing off the week.

TBJ Premier

TBJ Premier continues its hot play with a its own sweep of Palm Beach last Saturday and Sunday by scores of 13-0 and 6-2 respectively.  It finished off the week with a 4-1 Matinee win on Thursday.  

The line of Jonah Mortenson, Beau Nelson and Connor Nelson continue its torrid pace.  Over the 3 games the trio combined for 28 points.  Mortenson led the way with 5 goals and 5 assist while Nelson had 6 goals and 3 assist and Courneya
3 goals and 6 assist.  Defenseman Artjoms Kadnikovs chipped in 5 assist during the week.

Premier 11-1 past 12 Games

TBJ Premier is currently on an eight game winning streak and are 11-1 in its past 12 games.  Goalies Blake Mons and Onni Taskila have been keys to the success the past month.  They have given up a total of 10 goals in the past 10 games with both having save % over .950!

Next Games

Both TBJ Premier and Elite have next weekend off before the play a home and home series with the Junior Blades again.  Friday 2/18 the Blades come to AdventHealth Center Ice with Elite at 6:00 PM and Premier 8:30 PM.  Both teams travel to Hertz Arena Saturday for a 12:30 PM Elite game and 3:15 PM Premier puck drop.
