The Tampa Bay Juniors wish Milan Levcenko luck as he heads to play for
Lithuania’s u20 National Team.

Tampa Bay Juniors Elite Forward Milan Levcenko has been named to the Lithuania U20 National Team that will compete in the 2021 World Championships for Division IIA in Romania.  The tournament runs December 13-19.

Milan in 14 games played this year has 11 goals and 15 assist for 26 points.  He leads the Elite team with an average of 1.86 points/game.

We caught up with Milan as he is preparing for the tournament.

When did you get the call that you would be heading out to play for them? Has this been on your radar?

I got the call on Monday of December 2 saying how the training camp is starting on the 5th. I have been on their radar since this summer for the u18 team.

Being that you’ve played in the US for a while now, do you know any of your teammates on the national team?

I have childhood friends who are playing now on this team so it is a welcoming and a nice feeling to have when coming here knowing that you will see your long time friends.

How has the season with TBJ helped you prepare for the world juniors?

Tbj has helped me prepare for the world juniors by developing and improving my vision on the ice and helping me become a faster player with and without puck.

Milan and his team open the tournament against Italy Monday the 13th.
