Tampa Bay Juniors - USPHL

Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors Hockey Club is proud to announce that Premier Forward Derek Walker has committed to NCAA Division III New England College.  The Pilgrims are located in Henniker, NH and play in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC).

Derek played 3 years with TBJ amassing 135 games played.  "We are very proud of Derek."  Said Head Coach Garrett Strot.  "To see his game evolve over the last 3 seasons and to become the leader that he did, says a lot about his character and dedication."

"I couldn't have asked to be apart of a better team and organization."  Said Derek.  Tampa Bay Juniors is definitely the place for development.  I can't thank coach Strot and coach Vossler enough for three of the best seasons of my life."

"Derek Walker has intangible leadership skills." remarked Vossler.  "He is the guy that you want in your room, goes out of his way to make sure everyone feels
comfortable and welcomed from the first second."
