Tampa Bay Juniors Forward Aaron Frenkel Makes NCAA Commitment

The Tampa Bay Juniors Hockey Club is proud to announce that forward Aaron Frenkel has committed to NCAA DIII Kings College for the 2021-22 season.  The Monarchs, located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, play in the United College Hockey Conference (UCHC).

Aaron was Tampa's leading scorer this season with 27 goals and 34 assist for 61 points.  Frenkel came to Tampa last season just before Thanksgiving and in his 2 years with TBJ he totaled 46 goals, 61 assist for 107 points in 77 games played.

"Kings is getting a goal scorer!" said Tampa Head Coach Garrett Strot.  "He has a heavy shot with a quick release.  Aaron will be an impact player for Kings right away."

"I really enjoyed my time playing in Tampa" commented Aaron.  "I had some great teammates along the way and grew to appreciate Garrett and Brett's unique perspective on Junior Hockey from the development aspect.  They helped me improve both physically and mentally which has really helped prepare me the the next level.  I think Tampa is a great spot for any junior hockey player looking to play in college."

"Aaron really took a step further in his game this season" continued Strot.  "He put the time in over the off season to improve his speed.  His continued efforts are going to make him a top player for Kings."

The Tampa Bay Juniors want to wish Aaron and his family the best of luck as he continues his hockey career!!
