Tampa Bay Juniors Premier Forward, Stanley Lucas, was named USPHL South Regions Player of the Month.

Lucas stepped on the gas right after the start of 2020 and never let up, posting 24 points in 10 of his 11 January games, including nine games straight. He was an immense presence at the USPHL Winter Showcase, posting four points in a pair of Jan. 5 games against Twin City and Steele County. He added two more points for a 10-point showcase weekend.

His third four-point game was against the Florida Division Champion Florida Eels, posting a goal and three assists in a 5-2 win on Jan. 24.

The 2000-born native of Evansville, Ill., had an 18-point lead on the second-leading scorer with the Juniors as he stood with a line of 28-28-56 in just 38 games. Lucas also leads all Juniors forwards in time on ice (15:57 per game), stands at a team-leading +37, and he has generated 125 scoring chances this season.
