Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors are proud to announce that Luke Zimmermann has committed to play hockey at Anna Maria College.  The Amcats, out of Paxton, MA, are a NCAA Division III program beginning its second season.

“I cannot be happier for Luke.” Said Head Coach Garrett Strot.  “He played three seasons for us who’s a very unselfish player and has a great work ethic.  He’s fast and will play physical, traits that will give him an opportunity to play right away at Anna Maria.”

I just want to thank the TBJ organization for giving me an opportunity to play the 3 years I was there.” Said Luke, “Brett and Garrett taught me a lot throughout the years and I had learned what it takes to be a hockey player. Playing with TBJ had prepared me to play Junior A hockey in Canada and now Division 3 NCAA for Anna Maria. It was a fun experience and I made a lot of good memories along the way.  “

Luke played for Tampa from 2015-18 and will be joining former TBJ Alum David Tmej with the Amcats.   Zimmermann is the 18th Tampa Bay Junior Player to commit to a College for the 2019-20 season.
