Vaillancourt Commits to NCAA Hamline University

Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors Hockey Club is proud to announce that Premier Defenseman, Sebastian Vaillancourt has committed to play NCAA hockey next season at Hamline University.  Hamline, located  in St Paul, MN, plays in the MIAC.

Vaillancourt, from Hutchinson, MN, played in 95 games for Tampa over the past two seasons and was the team Captain this past season.  

"Sebastian was a tremendous captain for us this past season," said Head Coach Garrett Strot.  "He led by example both on and off the ice.  He played as a top pair defenseman both years he was here.  He see's the ice very well making good outlet passes.  Hamline is getting a player that is committed both on and off the ice as well as school.  I look for Sebastian to step right into the lineup next season."

"Playing in Tampa the last two years has been an incredible experience."  said Vaillancourt.  "The training facilities, off ice workouts, and the coaches gave me every opportunity to succeed as a player and living at Saddlebrook made life off the ice fun.  I can't thank my coaches enough for making these last two years great!  The memories I've made in Florida will last a lifetime!"

The Tampa Bay Juniors want to wish Sebastian and his family the best of luck as he moves on to college and continues his hockey career!

Vaillancourt is the 14th Tampa Bay Juniors player from 2019-20 season to commit to a College or University to play hockey.
