Wesley Chapel, FL - The Tampa Bay Juniors are proud to announce that Premier Forward Ken Malinoski has committed to play hockey next season at Lawrence Tech University.  Lawrence Tech, located in Southfield, MI near Detroit, is a NAIA school that plays in the WHAC.

Malinoski, '00 from Tarpon Springs, FL, finished his second season with Tampa.  This past season Ken played in a total of 43 games scoring 10 goals and adding 12 assist.  "We are very happy for Ken and his family."  Said Tampa Head Coach Garrett Strot.  "Ken mainly played defense for us last year on Elite but late in the season was moved to forward where he really took off.  This season he played forward all year with Premier and in the playoffs was one of our top players scoring 2 big goals."

"TBJ was an amazing training and learning experience, not just for hockey but for personal growth."  Malinoski said.  "It provided me with the best coaching I have ever received and set me up for my future."

"Kenny will be missed,"  added Strot, "he was always one of the hardest workers both on and off the ice and was great to coach because you only had to explain something once and he got it.  He is a top two way player and will be a big asset to the LTU program."

The Tampa Bay Juniors want to wish Ken and his family all the best as he continues his hockey career!
