Wesley Chapel, FL - Spencer Geer, Zach Parker and Zack Slezak won't have to take their equipment far, about 30 feet down the hall, as all three committed to play at the University of South Florida.  USF, which is currently playing in the ACHA Nationals, also plays at Advent Health Center Ice.

Geer, '98 Defenseman from Wesley Chapel, FL, played four years with TBJ.  His 161 games played is the most in TBJ history.  This past season saw Geer play with both the Premier and Elite teams.  "Spencer was a big part of our Elite Team making the USPHL Nationals Championship game". said Head Coach Garrett Strot.  "He had 2 goals and 2 assist and was probably the best defenseman in the tournament.  He brought out his best in the biggest games."  Geer ended his junior career with 24 goals and 38 assist.

Parker, '99 Forward from Wesley Chapel, finished his third season with Tampa.  Parker played a total of 141 games with 62 goals and 71 assist for 133 points in his career.  This past season he led the Elite team with 29 goals and 39 assist for 68 points and was named USPHL Southern All Star.  "Zach the last two years was our go to guy," said Strot.  "He has a sneaky heavy shot and scored a lot of big goals for us and he will do the same for USF."

Slezak, '98 Forward from Naperville, IL played two seasons for the TBJ Premier Team.  "Zack was one of the hardest workers in our program," Strot said.  "He was a key penalty killer for us this season and always gave 100%.  He's a player that always  was positive on the bench and getting the guys going.  He will be a big asset to the USF program."

The Tampa Bay Juniors want to wish all three players and their families the best of luck as they continue their hockey careers!
