Tampa Bay Juniors - USPHL

Tampa Juniors Elite led by 42 saves by Michael Krch held off a late come back by the Eels to win 3-2.  The win moves Tampa into 2nd place in the Southern Division.  The Eels jumped out to a 1-0 lead but just over 2 minutes later Jared Goudreau scored to tie the game 1-1.

In the 2nd period Tampa got out shot 19-5 but Trey Stern got the only goal of the period on a nice passing play from Raven Woodring and Brandon Goudreau.

The 3rd period found the Juniors getting out shot but J Goudreau scored his team leading 11th goal on the Power Play to give Tampa a 3-1 lead.  The Eels scored with 20 seconds left in the game to cut the lead to one but Tampa held on for the win.

Next week Tampa has a home and home with the Eels.
