Tampa Empire Earns 4 Point Weekend

The Tampa Bay Juniors Empire team beat the Florida Eels in overtime sunday to get 4 points on the weekend and move into 2nd place in the southern division.

Sunday's game started with the Juniors out shooting the eels 13-4 in the 1st but saw the Eels leading 1-0.  In the 2nd Max Mulholland scored on the Power Play just 1:27 into the period to get Tampa on the board.  3 minutes later Nathan Glick also scored a PP goal to give the Juniors the lead.  Steven Noyes scored later in the period for a 3-1 Juniors lead after the 2nd.

In the 3rd the Eels got 2 PP goals to send the game into O.T.  In the extra session Steven Noyes scored on a scramble in front for the victory.  Zac Gazzanna had 29 saves for the win.
